Founded 1442 (Ming Zhengtong reign), relocated and rebuilt 1682 (Kangxi). Covers 5,511 m². Surviving elements include the 泮池, 状元桥, 泗水牌坊, 魁星阁, 六角亭, 钟鼓楼, 棂星门, 大成门, and 大成殿. The largest and best-preserved Confucian temple complex in the 滇西南 region.
